Raven Tide
“Raven Tide” (ultimate moniker after replacing the initial “Ever Rain” for reasons of homonymy) formed in early 2009 from an idea by Cheryl (vocals) and Shark (guitar), with the subsequent collaboration of Mark (drums) and Fred (bass). The band’s sound is characterized by the fusion of the past experiences and the various musical influence of each member, creating the perfect blend of classic and symphonic metal, deep colors of dark and gothic with the grit and the power of heavy metal rhythmic groundworks.
After a great study on the concept creation and song writing, at the end of 2009, RT’s released their first EP “Ever Rain” (taking the titol from the original moniker), small preview to the completion of the full length. This 5 tracks issue soon became the subject of a large international distribution after the start of the collaboration with “Alkemist Fanatix Europe Agency” take part in several compilations (“Beauty And Brutality” – Femme Metal Record (UK), “Kill City Vol.21” – 272 Records (USA), “Azulejos – Rock4Haiti” – Save the Children).
In 2010, in the wake of “Ever Rain”, the band signed with the label Lost Sound Records, and in the spring of 2011, under the production of Frank Andiver work on the long-awaited debut album “Echoes Of Wonder” (Carlo Bellotti Publishing / Warner Chappell Music/ SELF) released on 18 November 2011 after the release of the first single “The Ascent”.
On November 2015 the band is among nominees in rock category with the song “Doom Reveil” in the 6th Hollywood Music in Media Awards walking the red carpet and attending the Award event at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles the 11th november. This important showcase is the first step of the new era that will see the band busy in production and promotion of new songs, leading the way for the release of the singles “Blue” on June 2016 with a lyric video, and “Lies” on september 2016.
On november 2016 Raven Tide back in the USA for the “Lies Tour” and spent a month promoting the new songs and sound with live shows and showcases across California and Nevada, performing on famous stages such as Whisky a Gogo and The Mint in Hollywood. In the same time the band got a second nomination in Rock category at the 7th Hollywood Music in Media Awards with the new track “Blue” and finally are able to back in Italy with important collaborations and agreements.
Now, Raven Tide’s are back to work in studio for the production of the new stuff and several new projects for 2017, including the release of a new album and tour scheduled for the autumn.
