PD: What type of artist are you?
A: We define ourselves as a classic, epic metal band with doom-influences
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
A: Back in 2013 Emil Holmqvist and P-O Jonsson decided to quit the band they were in and form Stygian Fair. They recruited Erik Andersson on bass and Andreas Stoltz on guitar/vocals. After a while both Erik and Andreas left the band and in came Anders Hedman on bass and Pontus Åkerlund on vocals.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
A: Classic, meloidic metal with clean vocals and harmonies in any form is the preferred influences.
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
A: to reach as many as possible with our music
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
A:The songs ar usually written when we are rehearsing, so the process includes all the band members
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
A: So far only on social media, facebook and instagram
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
A: it’s the thing most people do nowadays, so we only have to accept it, but the hardcore fans buy physical albums
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
A: Smoke on the water or Iron Man, two of the most epic guitar riffs ever made
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
A: so far the release of our latest album, Equilibrium
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
A: marketing our new album, and rehearsing new songs
PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?
A: all our music is released digitally on all streaming sites, you can buy it on bandcamp.
