PD: What type of artist are you?
H: Heavy Metal band
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
H: HESSLER is an American heavy metal band known for their energetic live performances. HESSLER has globally released four LP/EPs and seven music videos without a label or support from outside forces. They have extensively toured North America, performed with an array of major acts, and are the subject of a documentary that has won film awards in film festivals across the world.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
H: Fifty years worth of Metal, Punk and Rock Music. Defiance, history & war.
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
H: To survive. To create music that makes people think.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
H: Music: Igz & Erik. Lyrics: Igz

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
H: We haven’t run around naked with “SHOW TONIGHT – $10 COVER” yet, but maybe we should…
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
H: That this is a dated question. Online streaming is the norm now – it’s a digital world.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
H: Highway to Hell – cause we’d be getting paid very, very well.
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
H: When people are unprepared, sneeze into their hand or don’t cover their mouth, loading in and loading out.
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
H: Being on the same endorsment roster as Glenn Tipton – ENGL amps ftw!
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
H: A full length titled ‘When the Sky Is Black’. Hoping for a late spring release.
PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.
H: Corona Virus says no shows.
