PD. What type of artist are you?
SP. We are a band that creates based upon feeling and pure transparency.
PD. Tell us the brief history of yourself.
SP. We started jamming together just over a year ago and now here we are, ready to take over the world. Lol, just kidding…. or are we…?
PD. Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
SP. Blondie, Subrosa, Beer, Bourbon, Weed, Julie Christmas, Cult Of Luna, Isis, Nirvana, but most of all we are influenced by each other.
PD. What are your dreams and goals?
SP. To keep growing as people, musicians and as a band. To create sound with no boundaries and always find happiness in doing it. To take our music abroad, traveling and seeing new places.
PD. Who writes your songs, what are they about?
SP. Its really a collaborative effort, usually starting with guitar, then drums and then bass. As for lyrics, Amber writes a large portion of them with Scott adding some as well. Our songs are based upon a feeling, deep and very personal but also living, breathing artworks that lend themselves to the listeners interpretation.
PD. How do you promote your band and shows?
SP. Mainly Social media, Facebook and Instagram.
PD. What do you think about downloading music online?
SP. We definitely have an obsession with vinyl and appreciate having a hard copy of a bands music. We don’t have an issue with Downloading music in general. It is the way of the world. We see it as a way to take something for a test drive and to support a band we like, take Bandcamp for example, you can download and PAY for the bands music and buy merch from them all in the same spot.
PD. What’s your outlook on the record industry today?
SP. With the resurgence of vinyl records There have been a ton of smaller labels popping up all over the world and utilizing great distribution. The label we just signed to, Argonauta Records, being one of them. No matter what label you are on though it still takes a lot of hard work and touring to really make a name for yourself in the industry.
PD. What song do you wish you’d written and why?
SP. Every Black Sabbath song ever written. The reason should be pretty obvious right?
PD. What are some of your pet peeves?
SP, Rules and limits on creativity. Dishonesty and Ignorance. Chewing on ice.
PD. What is your proudest moment in music?
SP. Every time we get to perform the songs we created for an audience would have to be our proudest moment(s) in music.
PD. Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.
SP. We have tours coming up in June and October with some one offs in between. They are with some really great bands in great cities. You should be there because we’ll be there!
