White Noise Owl

White Noise Owl

Out of an almost serendipitous confluence of events LA’s White Noise Owl burst onto the scene with an unprecedented combination of rarity and relentlessness.

You know the players involved in this tempest of talents from several of their iconic acts. Out of The Mix Room and the famed EastWest Studios, Pete Murray, Chris Shy, John Fahnestock, and Will Hunt authored a fresh perspective on modern rock and with the final addition of producer Ben Grosse into the epicenter; White Noise Owl was stormborn with “Until We Meet Again.”

This EP is a mere preview of the unbridled energy radiating from the convergence of four guys who met for the very first time while they recorded together. From the opening atmosphere of the intro “How Was The Week” an enticing glance into the charm of White Noise Owl proves a mesmerizing combination of quiver inducing riffs, unmistakable vocals, poetically licensed lyrics and movement provoking drumwork. “Feed” flows in thunderously as it delivers heady and insatiable riffage before we’re led into the mighty track “Bomber.” Now in full focus of the Owl, the structure and soul of this band breathe new life into the rock genus as it builds upon the dynamics of superb musicianship that evolves within every song. The two final and most compelling yet introverted tracks “End Over End” and “Are You Breathing,” peer deeper into the core of the band, revealing an intensely passionate and confident introduction into the birth and journey of White Noise Owl. Armed with challenges overcome and expectations exceeded, White Noise Owl have stepped out of the studio from which they first assembled and onto the scene; perfectly poised to rattle the rock world. Prepare for the year of the OWL.
