Warhead Rising
Once called simply Warhead. J.R. Zwitzer, Dan Sorokti, and Rick Sheldon have gotten back together to create new music and revisit the music we wrote some time ago.
Warehead was formed by J.R. , Rick and the 2 Caster brothers. After going through many singers Dan Sorokti settled in for the long haul. After a few personel changes the “classic” line up of J.R., Dan, Rick, Ty Bragg, and Gibb Caster put out a 5 song EP “On the Run” Opening for national acts, playing the bar scene consisting of our originals and covers from contemporary metal acts, fun was had by all.
As in most bands things changed musical, tastes matured and we went our seperate ways while still following our musical hobbies/paths. Late in 2011 J.R., and Dan got back together and began to write, record, and produce new music. We also re-recorded old Warhead tunes, “Insanity” and “Catch A Thrill” can be heard on our reverbNation and Myspace sites. Late in 2012 Rick rejoined and now is actively recording drums for all the music we already have, and the new tunes we are writing now as Warhead Rising
