THEIA RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘THE WET DIE YOUNG’

British alt-rock duo THEIA have today released The Wet Die Young, the latest track from their upcoming EP of the same name.

THEIA are continuing with their quest to do things their own way continue to push against the boundaries set by genres; the acoustic intro gives way to crunching riffs while younger brother Ash provides the beats that power the track forward – add in some “na na na’s” and you have a track that refuses to be constrained by the labels which the industry love to pin on bands. The lyrics are honest and delve into the strange workings of Kyle’s subconscious.

Talking about the track, Kyle says: “A song on the dark side of dumb. Pool party vibes for people with sad minds. Do you ever wake up and wonder what’s wrong with you? The lyrics tell about all the different dreams I’ve had of dying before my time. Why am I always wet when it happens!? The Wet Die Young had its first live outing at a pool party in Greece and has been followed by some of THEIA’s most electric shows to date (including the one where lightning struck and shut down the show for 20 minutes). Crowds are growing, buzz is building: and just like a bad dream – the “ones to watch” are becoming something you can’t look away from…”
