PD: What type of artist are you?
KB: We’re a rock and roll band!
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
KB: Me personally (Katie) started late at 18 picking up a guitar. Two years later I started the band The Barettas. We gained alot of hype and played alot of shows. There was a line-up change in 2010 Lauren became our drummer. We broke up in 2012 and got back together 2020 and i Thank god for it baucause its so much fun.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
KB: Influences: White Stripes, Blink 182, The Libertines, Amy Winehouse, No Doubt, Arctic Monkeys. Non musical: My mom and sister
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
KB: I dream to be in a big tour van going around the world playing music. Or for our new album to gain success and maybe the attention on a label.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
KB:I write the “skeleton” of the song (Lyrics, melody, guitar) and Lauren brings the frankensteins to life 
(drums, back up vocals, some structure changes if necessary)
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
KB: We promote by word of mouth. We’ve gone out and postered up Toronto and New York but I feel that meeting people and word of mouth is more successful. That and promoting online of course.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
KB: I like listening to music on Apple and its only $10 a month but when it comes to uploading my own music i just wish there was more money in it.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
KB: Working class hero – John Lennon
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
KB: Working a minimun wage job.
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
KB: Playing a show with The New York Dolls hands down best day of my life and no one can take that away from me.
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
KB: Right now Im just working on a successful album release on the 29th of Jan and I have some new songs but its up to Lauren if she digs them or not
