Obviously being a sister company of Midnight Tornado – Music News & Events it seemed the perfect name!!!
The great news is that NOTHING else has changed and we are still working hard on touring plans with our fantastic touring bands including – Wicked Smile (AUS), Hearts & Hand Grenades (USA), Cassidy Paris (AUS) & Mad Haven (UK)

So as announced earlier today Hearts & Hand Grenades have been nominated for an award at the upcoming HRH X awards in the ‘International Young Blood’ category!!!
Considering the band had never played a show in the UK until March this year this is some achievement in itself just to be nominated!!!

Sadly, we were informed this afternoon that we have lost the last date on our tour on Saturday in Kent due to some issues at the venue BUT we have to say publicly as dissapointed as we all are the venue transferred the full tour package fee over this afternoon and paid every penny that they owed our bands that they agreed to pay so we have to respect them for that, of course the opinion from the bands was that they wanted to earn their fee not just have it handed to them like this but we are obviously thankful nevertheless…

A big thank you to Metallum Sub Terra for reviewing our recent Sweet Little Sister Touring show at The Six Six Bar in Cambridge ft Hearts & Hand Grenades, Mikey Ball & The Company & SoulSwitch 🙏

The Six Six Bar, Cambridge 19/08/23
Firstly – we agreed we had no intention of reviewing tonight as it was a night out to celebrate some old twat turning even older (me lol)
Secondly – it was such a great night we then decided we had to review it which is tricky at my age and no notes taken at all!
The venue was new for us – what it lacks in size (180 cap) it more than makes up for in decent beers, great and welcoming staff and a guarantee you’ll want to go back
First up – the ‘bonus’ band for everyone!
Lowdown had a face (guitarist and singer too!) I’d not seen for more years than we could remember – Dave (from the wonderful Silas) it was so great to see you and catch up.
Not convinced based on tonight you’ll be the openers for too much longer but what a show and what a great discovery (even the wife loved it…..this is probably about as high a praise as I can give haha)
SoulSwitch we knew were from the US and were here with H&HG – we also knew they had to be good to be part of the tour.
With a vocalist that showed control and power in a stunning voice that was, at times, a revelation and a band sat between the metal and rock genre sound and left the room with as many new friends as there were people in the building
Mikey Ball & The Company brought the blues and roll – just enough ZZ Top and Thin Lizzy vibes and sounds to keep the momentum going and the crowd lapping it up
It was clear how much of a great time they appeared to be having and I can only hope this is the beginning of a much bigger adventure for them
Hearts & Hand Grenades had us booking tickets once more (after this years earlier UK tour) literally as soon as we’d seen the announce.
The fact the wife was gone as soon as we walked in (while I obviously went to the bar 😉 ) to catch up with them tells you the kind of impact they’d had when we saw them last.
Their humility (in no way amplified by Mike remembering MST when I saw him haha) is a huge part of why we can’t talk highly enough about them. The band were all great company through the evening when we had the chance to chat
As a band I think it’s fair to say they were even better than when we saw them in London with three new songs from their upcoming third album AND a rendition of ‘The In Crowd’ may have helped us reach that decision too
A great ‘All The Small Things’ cover with just about everyone from the other bands who could fit on the stage was mad good fun too
As a band they also seem to thrive on the live show with Steph in particular a real natural live performer and drummer Cory once again pioneering the ‘floating round the drum kit’ technique with his normal prowess
Based on those new songs – frankly take our money……..
Once more our scene surpasses itself with a room full of like minded people and friends to be proud of in itself alongside an evening of music I think we were sad to see end
(Also spotted one of the lovely folk behind the bar with a Bathory tshirt on – props to you, sir)

What a fantastic night our Sweet Little Sister Touring bands had at Subside Bar on Friday night, the show was booked in late on the tour and it turned out to be a killer night for all involved!!!

What a great night last night at The Six Six Bar in Cambridge – Fantastic venue which is well worth a visit if you haven’t been yet!!!
Thank you to all involved for making night 2 of the 2nd Hearts & Hand Grenades UK Tour of 2023 another show to remember!!!
Less than 2 weeks until the tour hits Cardiff, the bands have been on fire for the past 2 nights and we cannot WAIT for everyone back home to see this tour!!!

A big thank you to everyone who turned out last night for Hearts & Hand Grenades in Swindon, was a great night, all 3 bands sounded amazing and the venue were such a pleasure to work with & we would highly recommend using them!!!
Was great seeing some old friends including White Raven Down who all came along to support our night and it was also great making so many new friends and meeting people for the 1st time including Mikey Ball & The Company & SoulSwitch and of course the fantastic team at the Underground Swindon – again we would highly recommend using this venue its amazing!!!
Swindon we will be back!!! 🖤

We are proud to announce that fresh from an incredible performance at Steelhouse Live last weekend Dead Man’s Whiskey will be returning to South Wales again soon!!!
As part of the bands own UK tour this November they have agreed to join us for our own dates at FUEL ROCK CLUB & Underground Swindon as very special guest headliners with support each night from Wicked Smile & Cassidy Paris!!!

As planned Mikey Ball & The Company will still provide UK support in Swindon, Cambridge, Bridgwater & Bournemouth then Molly Karloff will take over for the remainder of the tour playing Bristol, Birmingham, Leicestershire, Manchester, Llandudno, Cardiff & Kent!!!
Please note we do have a venue change also, our Wolverhampton date on Friday 25th August has been moved to Birmingham, please contact point of purchase if you do need a refund & please note Birmingham will be FREE entry before 9pm so get down early for that one – Full details to follow shortly – no other dates have been affected!!!

Congratulations to both Tom & Alex Rogowski who have officially joined Cassidy Paris in her band on bass & drums respectively!!!

We are proud to have introduced all parties last year and at that point we never saw in a million years that the lads would end up relocating to Australia to join the Cassidy Paris band full time but we are so proud of them for following their dreams & taking these steps!!!
The 1st shows together will of course be in the UK & we have a live debut for the guys planned on Friday 17th November which we hope to announce in the next few weeks so keep an eye on Sweet Little Sister Touring for more news on that one!!!
Mad Haven will be continuing but the boys will share their plans with you all soon!!!
Once again congratulations to everyone involved here, this is a case of the best people doing the best job working together which we love!!!
