Sugar Crease

Somewhere between Post-punk & madcap after-party Sugar Crease release new single ‘Rooms’ 30/8/23

Emerging somewhere between Post-punk & madcap after-party, Sugar Crease began as a “therapy” group for 3 musical gallivanters in a shed in Oldham Greater Manchester, whose only intentions were enjoyment, experimentation and escape.

Folks of rum nature and curious disposition were invited to guest (and maybe have a little disco) as the group worked on their musical magic and videos over the following years, producing albums Piccalilli Dreams (2016), A Fear of Gardens (2017) and Lemon Warhead (2020).

Permanent members on guitar, keys and drums have been added to complete the line-up. Shined up and with a decade’s worth of material the six piece had their debut shows in 2023.

It’s a selection box of musical bangers led by two charismatic frontmen. Lightning!

“The opening track “Rooms” greets you in euphoric post-punk bliss. A saturated sonic ray of sunshine hitting you from every angle, it becomes evident that we have a versatile band here that know how to write catchy and potent tunes that stay in your head for days on end.”
