One In The Chamber

One In The Chamber

One In The Chamber has just released “To The Gallows”

Since the release of their 2018 debut studio EP, One In The Chamber has been compared to the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Revolver, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Mötley Crüe. Now, returning with their first single since “Blow”, One In The Chamber have released their second single for 2020, “To The Gallows” on all digital platforms! Embracing a darker and alternative tone, “To The Gallows” is a haunting track equally influenced by the likes of Alice In Chains and Deftones as it is by Led Zeppelin.

Despite the challenges presented to the live music community in 2020, One In The Chamber has pressed forward in what can only be described as a successful year that exceeded their own expectations. With the release of two singles and music videos, “Blow” and “To The Gallows”, One In The Chamber have continued to grow digitally and have reached over 80,000 Spotify streams, surpassing the highs of 2019. Furthermore, in an effort to continue to engage with their audience in a socially responsible fashion, the band has performed a number of live streamed concerts – most notable a pair of shows with 101.5 The Wolf FM in the summer, and a performance in conjunction with the Mississauga Art’s Council. As a result, One In The Chamber were named ‘Best Rock Band’ of 2020 by Blue Rhymez Entertainment and are stepping into 2021 with plans for a far more exciting year.

Recorded during the same sessions as “Blow” earlier this year at Toronto’s legendary Phase One Studios, “To The Gallows” once again sees One In The Chamber working with acclaimed producer and engineer, Murray Daigle and engineer Mike Smith at the helm. The FACTOR supported project is the band’s second single for the year as One In The Chamber continues to navigate through the constantly changing landscape that is 2020. Following an exclusive radio premiere (ERB Radio, UK) and a media premiere via The Spill Magazine, “To The Gallows” builds on the growing excitement that “Blow” launched earlier this year.

One In The Chamber has since released their follow up music video – their second for the year – for “To The Gallows”. Like their videos in the past, the band has teamed up with director and producer Diego del Rio for a gritty, rough, raw, and old school visual take.

Released earlier this year, “Blow” is Toronto’s answer to the new wave of rock & roll driven by the likes of Greta Van Fleet, Dirty Honey, Blacktop Mojo, The Wild, and Them Evils. Furthermore, the music video sees the band reunite with Director Diego del Río and Video Producer Kathleen Fobert to deliver a modern, neon haze visual  that enhances the rock & roll aesthetic of the studio recording.

”Blow” is their first release since 2018’s I’ve Got Something To Say…,their award winning debut studio EP. Since it’s release, the track has amassed over 50,000 streams on Spotify, has been featured on radio networks throughout North America, Australia, and The UK, and has been compared to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Avenged Sevenfold and Guns N’ Roses, and has been featured on Loudwire’s Weekly Wire Spotify playlist.

Previously, One In The Chamber has released their award winning and celebrated 2018 debut studio EP, I’ve Got Something To Say….The EP has  racked up over 100,000 Spotify streams along with international radio play. The EP spawned music videos for singles “Bills To Pay” and “Itchin’ Back” and would be named Canadian EP of 2018 by Canadian Beats Both music videos would be nominated for Independent Rock Video of 2018 & 2019 by Dropout Entertainment, and the band would be featured live on Toronto’s CP24. More recently, the band made it to the semi-finals of 97.7 HTZ FM’s annual Rocksearch competition.

Since Forming in 2015, the band has tirelessly performed throughout Toronto – including performances at The Horseshoe Tavern, Adelaide Hall, and The Opera House – and across Ontario, along with an international performance at The MGM Grand, Las Vegas. Their 2019 Summer Tour culminated with their sold-out Indie Week Festival debut opening for The Wild.

One In The Chamber has shared the stage with Scott Weiland, Derek St. Holmes, and Darby Mills, while also appearing on the same festival bill as the likes of The Offspring, Live, Ill Scarlet, and Sumo Cyco. One In The Chamber was also a part of Epidemic Music Group’s Guinness World Record Breaking Concert, which ran for over 16 days.

With the release of “Blow”, One In The Chamber are back having cut their teeth on the live circuit. With a refined and gritty take on the current new wave of classic rock, One In The Chamber are set to make 2020 their biggest year yet.
