Midnight76

Midnight76
Self Titled Album
31st Oct 2021

The selt-titled album has been desribed as brazenly Rock & Roll with an emphatic voice on just about every track. There’s a heavy emphasis on energetic hook-based riffs backed by a relentless rhythm section that commands space the way that a pro-skater covers a long hill covered in broken glass.

Catchy melodies, visceral instrumentation and poetic lyrics all combine into a burning dynamic atmosphere that shapeshifts its way through many incarntions.

Psych, Grunge, Alternative and Punk all howl like a biting wind while the samples of mechanical noise chirp like bats that race overhead in this igniting amalgamation of Hard Rock music.

Tracks like “Hyra”, “The Hole I Dug” and  “Rounds” burn with a riling “Hell Yea! energy

The uncompromising vision that arose out of this mindset is what solidified Midnight76 as an ambitious rock band that imbues the noisy mechanical elements of industrial music with the dancing backbone of electronic music and the seductive elements of trip-hop.

Midnight76 is a unique band that pushes the envelope of genre exclusivity. It keeps a healthy identity of rock music, yet is able to seamlessly invoke elements of other genres without sacrificing that feeling of authenticity.
