Synthwave Electronic Rock artist Battlejuice and retro rockers LeBrock have announced their In The Dark EP is now available across all platforms from FiXT.

Full of drive and eighties-inspired leads and featuring a powerhouse vocal performances from LeBrock the EP takes the best of each artists and pushes them to new heights as each single covers a swath of genres including the heavier side of Synthwave. The past and future collide with modern production for a sonic experience that resonates across space and time.

The three track EP features the resonating Electronic and Synthwave single “Made Of Steel,” the Synthwave and Industrial Metal single “Dust,” and the Electronic, Synthwave, and Rock title track “In The Dark.” Originally inspired by “Dream Warriors” by Dokken! “In The Dark” was designed to fit the mold of an eighties horror movie title song but outgrew this theme into something more.
“‘In The Dark’ is the opening theme for an 80’s horror movie that never existed. That’s the main idea on which the foundation track was built,” explains Battlejuice. “Dark atmosphere merges with over-the-top retro-inspired synths forming the perfect blend!“

Combining ‘80s melodic rock riffs with shimmering synthwave melodies and a heartfelt vocal delivery, LeBrock have established themselves as uniquely compelling artists unlike anyone else in contemporary music.

The retro rockers’ first EP, Action and Romance, was a synth-heavy fan favorite that has earned millions of Spotify streams to date. The group followed it up with a more rock-oriented, vocal-driven EP, Real Thing, which was packed with fist-pumping retro anthems including the hit song, “Runaway.” The early success of the first two recordings caught the attention of the label FiXT, which signed the group to a multi-album deal and re-packaged and re-released the first two albums in the process.

LeBrock’s new material kicked off with a string of singles across 2019 and 2020, each one demonstrating the bands’ unmatched capacity for timeless, hook-heavy anthems. With each new song, LeBrock has refined and honed their skill set, combining the best of ’80s melodic rock with throwback synths and a contemporary production edge for a sound that feels larger than life which culminated in the release of their first full-length album Fuse in June of 2021. The duo released a slew of singles in culminating in the Gone EP in 2023.
Back in the future, when Hell came to Earth, Battlejuice was born.
