Last of the Fallen Angels are back with a new single mixing trip hop and dream pop with the heavenly vocals of Hannah Robinson.
Produced and mixed by long time collaborator Simon Ellis (Spice Girls, S Club 7, Westlife)
“Red Dress” plays with gender and blurs the lines between male and female.
It is the story of boy meets girl separated by the Atlantic Ocean. Exploring gender, it plays with ideas explored in great songs such as Lola (The Kinks) and Walk on the Wild Side (Lou Reed).
It’s been a busy time for the band with recent appearances at an HMV instore in Newcastle and opening the Butterfly Effect Festival, on a line-up that included Mouses and Ceiling Demons.
With another single in September and Album 2.0 due in November, it’s the start of a big adventure for the trip hop / dream pop collective.
