PD: What type of artist are you?

K: I’m an Alternative Indie/Metal artist PD. Tell us the brief history of yourself. I’ve played drums for 11 years and guitar for 8 years. My main genre of music is metal of which I also play in the style of.


PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

K: My main musical idols are ERRA, Slipknot, Bloc Party and Anberlin


PD: What are your dreams and goals?

To make a living out of music, whether it be performing or teaching


PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

K: We all write our own music, individually adding our own tastes to make Kosmonauts sound the way we do. Lyrically our vocalist takes charge of writing, which range from nostalgia in being young or more emotionally relatable story settings


PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

K: We mostly do our promotions via online socials as it is the norm for musicians


PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

K: As a band who just wants to have our music heard, I feel it is beneficial especially for the smaller artists like ourselves


PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

K: ‘Spirits Away’ by a band called ERRA. They’re one of, if not my favourite bands of all time. The technicality and overall composition is how I’d love to perform/write in the future, regardless of genre.


PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

K: Impatient on another level and losing gulag in Warzone


PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

K: Selling out first ever EP launch show


PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

K: Newer, fresher music as you’ll all hear.
