Karl Richardson
I’m Karl Richardson, a musician/songwriter hailing from a small countryside village in Northamptonshire, UK. I first became interested in music in my early teens and began learning to play the guitar and drums. Originally Metal was my genre of choice but over time I began to appreciate many other styles and learnt to play the banjo and a bit of keyboard.
Over the years I played in a few bands that never really took off, so I started writing a lot of material by myself. As my interest in the production side of music grew I began recording the songs I had written, and even tackled the vocals myself, which is something I had never really tried before. After getting some good feedback from friends, family and other musicians I decided that I was going to start taking it more seriously and gave myself a goal to work towards: release a 5 track EP by the end of 2016!
After months of writing, recording, mixing and mastering, I released my debut EP ‘Ghost Town’ which I would describe as a mix of folk, country and acoustic rock with a bit of a dark twist, on 6th December 2016 on all major online music platforms.

With several projects planned for 2017 that cover several different genres I created ‘El Tezmondo Music’ as a brand/label of sorts under which all my music and collaborations with others will be released.
