Insolace – Hold On
Released 21st May 2021

After a difficult setback earlier last year, Insolace are finally back and are set to release a euphoric thriller, titled ‘Hold On’.

Like the band, the writing and structure of this song indicates progression and a certain level of complexity; evident from the abundance of Subs and Synths intertwining ever so cleverly with the standard backline throughout the track. Topped off by climatic melodies in the choruses by Vocalist Millie Cook, the result is nothing short of a journey beautifully articulated by four vastly experienced individuals. Highlighting how life can throw you lemons, Millie’s lyrical content describes how through personal inner grit and determination the impossible is indeed very possible; becoming ever stronger for the experience.

Scheduled for release on 21st May, this is something you definitely won’t want to miss.

“Hailing from London, Alternative Rock band INSOLACE have achieved a lot in their brief history, including sold out shows in London and Brighton.

Lyrically the band are tackling the negative stigma of mental illness head on, and their sound perfectly mirrors the swinging highs and lows of depression and mania. They aim to offer hope and positive guidance to their listeners through their music.

Despite the accessibility of their sound, Insolace are a band who defy easy categorisation and they manage to articulate their own relatable real life struggles through blistering instrumentation, honest lyrics and heartfelt melodies; to produce something that is both haunting and cathartic.”
