Argentinian crossover melodic
metal act sign to Frontiers.
Debut album in late 2020
Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of Inner Stream to a multi-album deal. A melodic metal project that pushes the boundaries and incorporates elements of symphonic, electronic, gothic and nu metal, the group’s songs are rich on texture, heavy riffs, powerful melodies and emotional passages.
“I am very excited and proud to be a part of the Frontiers family,” says Inner Stream co-founder, vocalist and songwriter Inés Vera-Ortiz. “This opportunity came at the right time when the concept of the project reached a peak of maturity and clear vision. While my songwriting is varied, my heart is close to metal and I will never turn away from it. Our first album will include songs written over the last few years that I feel represent this long journey through many different, important and emotional moments of my life. I am very happy to be able to share these personal moments.”
Inner Stream began in 2008 as a project conceived by Inés Vera Ortiz and her brother Jorge in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At that time, she was also the vocalist for local power metal outfits, but her songwriting was heading in a different direction and the duo recorded a goth metal oriented demo as she continued working with other acts. In 2017, she teamed up with Argentinian keyboard player and producer Guillermo De Medio (Tarja Turunen, Full Nothing, Barilari) to help her work on new songs and fully realise the vision of Inner Stream. A debut album will be released in late 2020 that is being produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio.
