Handsome Pete
Handsome Pete is one of Michigan’s hardest working, heavy hitting rock and roll bands. Formed in 2015 as a gigging cover band, the group quickly developed a taste for more. Coming from various musical backgrounds, together they molded their unique sound forming a mesh of 90’s alternative and hard rock. In early 2016 the group’s debut LP “Dancing For Nickels” was formed, with the track titled “Blow” being featured on Poison Tree Records second rock compilation, ‘This Is Rock Vol. 2’. Still grinding in 2017 the group has taken runner up in the 2017 “Homegrown Throwdown”, won the local portion of Hard Rock Cafe’s “Hard Rock Rising”, and won the “Rockin the Shores music and Beer Festival ” battle of the bands. The band’s second LP, ‘Small Miracles’, just released mid July 2018, and has a working single ‘Captain Lonely’ on national radio with the help of Steve Walker and his team at Contraband Company as well as renound industry rep Jeffrey Naumann. With great feedback on the song, already gaining lots of spins on lots of active rock FM stations, the single is bound to have success on radio. The group teamed up with booking agency The Sights Set North, which will book all of their upcoming national tours. Most recently, they are under management through Curtain Call Records.
