“Godbomber are perfectly described by a line from John Carpenter’s The Thing, “I don’t know what the hell’s in there, but it’s weird and it’s pissed off whatever it is.” Abrasive and unpredictable, they create a head spinning amalgamation of punk, jazz, hip hop and math rock sprinkled with satire, shower thoughts and offkilter humour delivered by two, real life, locally sourced humans who let things just sonically happen. Their list of influences is too long to write, their sound cannot be put into any particular genre and they steadfastly refuse to take themselves seriously.
