Eyeless Angels released debut EP
American Post-Black Metal band Eyeless Angels released their debut EP «Barren Wasteland». The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by C.V. at “Eleventh Earth Studio”.
On February 26th, 2019, a traumatic event happened in the life of C.V., songwriter and creator of Eyeless Angels. This was before it was even an idea. The poem this band was named after wasn’t even written yet. Deeply affected and morbidly inspired by this event, and needing a creative outlet for their pain, C.V. began writing black metal and dark poetry to go alongside their existing project. Of these came a poem entitled “Eyeless Angels” and a song entitled “The Heart of Reapers”. On April 22nd, 2019, they got a message from a local drummer looking to form a band. Although that drummer left the band since then, that was the day it started. One week later, on April 29th, C.V. and said drummer formed a duo, named after C.V.’s poem, and C.V. gave The Heart of Reapers to the band. Since then, the band has had the drummer leave, a guitarist come and go, and a few members audition. Almost exactly a year later, C.V. finished all the demos and published them alone, still trying to form a band to play with in the barren wasteland that is Amarillo, Texas.
