EVYLTYDE are one of London’s fastest rising metal acts combining powerful, melodic vocals with hard-hitting, edgy guitar riffs that create a unique and distinctive sound that melds numerous metal genres from thrash to gothic.

The group was established in August 2013 by Danny Merton (guitars) and Hannah Delany (vocals) upon releasing their first single – “Fight To Be Free” – a homage of sorts to classic British metal bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

Released during the traditional Christmas Chart period in 2013 and due to its lyrical content being inspired by events such as the Arab Spring, Libya and the war in Syria, EVYLTYDE are dedicated to giving all profits from the sales of the single to charity.

In late 2013, bassist Paul James (formerly VIRUS) permanently joined EVYLTYDEto add even greater depth to what was already an extremely powerful core and in July 2014 EVYLTYDE released their second single “Killer”, the video for which received over 6,000 views on YouTube and was subsequently showcased on a number of internet radio shows.

With a number of drummer changes in the first half of 2014, EVYLTYDE finally settled with Isaac Marques (previously 101% PANTERA), a stalwart of the London depping scene who finally hung-up his mercenary hat to join the band full-time.

Soon after, the band released a third single “Skin Deep” in early October 2014 as a free download on their Reverbnation page with the song hitting over 2,000 plays on Soundcloud and in early 2015 they released their self-titled debut album to outstanding reviews including an 8/10 from the UK’s POWERPLAY magazine.

In August 2016 a new era for EVYLTYDE was ushered in with the addition of two new members, Noah Scott (bass) and Phillip Tetlow (drums), who replaced outgoing members Russ ‘The Bear’ Wark (bass) and Isaac Marques (drums) – who where both unable to continue due to personal reasons.

With over 80 shows under their belt in just over 2 years, EVYLTYDE are well-known for their great live performances and have toured extensively throughout the UK, most recently [February 2016] with rock legend Graham Bonnet and they have also been announced as tour support for Accept/Bonfire/Bangalore Choir vocalist David Reece’s new band [Reece Percudani Group] in September 2016.

September also sees the band record “Bullet In The Head” as a follow-up to their debut album prior to another short tour with Lithuanian metal outfit, BERSERKER, after which EVYLTYDE plans to return to the studio to record their 2nd full length album.
