Enhailer – Interview

Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (http://petesrocknewsandviews.com)

PD:What type of artist are you?

E: a name for my artistic style.. musically and lyrically would be optimistic nihilism. I come from the darker side of the mind predominantly but not in a pessimistic way. And I’m heavily Rick James influenced.

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

E: 38 years old, musician since age 9, a conscious outsider, a lover of nearly anything authentic, I thrive in chaos but always search for peace. And enjoy olive loaf sandwiches

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

E: William S Burroughs, Charles Bukowski, Friedrich Nietzsche Jeremy Enigk, GG Allin, Lemmy Kilmister, and most of all Donald Trump.

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

E: To escape the sham and drudgery of life and strive to be happy. And win a million dollars.

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

E: Musically our songs are written by all three of us, lyrically they are written by me and hopefully cover most of the topics  that we deal with in the human struggle. And of course money and chicks.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

E: Social media, word of mouth, and we hire several Mexican gentleman that slap together small fliers and hand them out on street corners in Las Vegas.

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

E: I think it’s great as long as bands get credit for their original music and are paid accordingly though I do wish it was more lucrative for the smaller and lesser known.

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

E: Purple Haze, need I say more?

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

Reality TV shows in general, people in cars in general, my cat running up my back with her sharp nails while I’m trying to eat a bowl of soup in general.

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

E: A tie between having my dad in my band and looking into a crowd of people and watching them sing my songs back to me.

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

E: An interview for Pete’s Rock News and Views.Com

PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?

E: Our next shows are going to be insanely intense and on the next level because we will be so happy to be playing live music in front of live people again. Dates TBA
