DIVINEX RELEASES “MASSIVE AND MEMORABLE” THIRD RECORD “DREAMSCAPES”
Following the success of cult instrumental progressive metal album “Create. Affect. Repeat.” and standout tracks like “Reinventions,” “Event Horizon”, and “Immortalize”, Upstate NY based instrumental act, Divinex, has just released the long-awaited new LP, “Dreamscapes”. After teasing the album for months and releasing two advance singles and a music video for the track “Presque Vu”, the highly anticipated full-length record is now live on all music platforms.
With each record release thus far demonstrating a clear commitment to long-form, whole-album listening experiences, Divinex says that “Dreamscapes” is no different in that regard. While many of the tracks serve as unique and exciting works in their own right, the album as a whole was developed to be a moving and memorable experience that all builds toward a thrilling and satisfying ending. Each track is one scene, but the album is a kick-ass, blockbuster, sonic action movie. To boot, the record also features a guest performance by Adam Bentley of the legendary Arch Echo, and even integrates recordings of actual Divinex fans singing, as a part of a fan collaboration project announced earlier in 2022.
“We wanted this album to really feel like a unique experience you want to listen to all the way through, and we worked hard to create deep sonic textures and a varied range of complementary sounds to really make it sound rich and expansive. It sounds so massive and memorable and it’s a great monument to the evolution of our sound and how our music and composition has developed.”
– Jay Wolff, Lead Guitar
As an entirely independent and self-made band, Divinex has become a notable name in the instrumental progressive metal space, with a reputation for rhythmic technicality and mammoth 10+ minute finale songs, and a long history of live appearances alongside many of the biggest names in the prog game, including Born of Osiris, Veil Of Maya, ERRA, Beyond Creation, Jason Richardson, Chon, Scale the Summit, and most notably Angel Vivaldi, who also has a guest performance in the Divinex track “Collide”.
