Devil Red
Devil Red is Rock music with heart, Heavy riffs and soulful melodic vocals. Formed 2009 in the hills of Netherton, deep in the birthplace of metal, the black country. The band was founded by childhood friends guitarist Anthony Lunn & drummer Michael Piggot. A “bromance” that would be later joined by bassist Jordan Staten & vocalist Grant Silk. Since then we’ve gigged, endlessly supporting acts like Kiss’ biggest europe tribute group Dressed To Kill & Iron Maiden’s ex frontman Blaze Bayley. Not to mention headlined many established venues playing rock covers and originals. Now this is the part where we’re supposed to go on about influences & what we sound like etc. Well the truth is we sound like….Devil Red. True, we have our favorites who we grew up on (Maiden, Metallica, Green Day & so on). Bands & artists who soundtracked our teens, good times & heartbreaks. But we have felt we’ve always stood on the grey area where no one else is. Influences? Easy! Life! Good or bad. We let the songs tell the story and the music speak for itself.
