In the words of Chris Bridgett. ‘The Deep End will always be a special song to me I started writing it one morning in lockdown 2020 and finished it in February 2023, when the song’s chorus fell from the heavens and gave the song its title. I’ll leave listeners to decide what the song is about for themselves because that’s what I’m doing. I know it’s dark and it’s deep and it’s the first glimpse of the songs I’ve spent the last two years writing that will make up my debut album which I hope will see the light of day next year’
The Deep End was recorded at 6DB Studios Salford with Simon Ding Archer.
Words and music guitars bass and vocals are by Chris Bridgett and drums are by Simon Smith.
The track was produced by Chris Bridgett and Simon Ding Archer and is self-released.
‘The Deep End’ will be available for streaming and download on major music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, starting September 29th, 2023.
