Cathalepsy is a metal project from Valparaiso Chile founded by Luigi Ansaldi in 1998 that in 2006 released their debut album “Fight in the sky”, an album composed by Luigi Ansaldi achieving great acceptance in countries like Brazil and Japan, unfortunately the adventure was short-lived and for various reasons the band dissolved in 2010. In 2019 Luigi decided to revive the use of his band’s name, but this time as a project and began the adventure of creating material for a new album, composing powerful and energetic songs, with lyrics with powerful messages, Heavy metal with heart and rage, creating songs that can be heard by everyone, this is a powerful and raging album, but also fun, it is for all metalheads, without distinction of branches or styles, this is Heavy fuckyn metal! In 2019 Fabián Valdés joins this adventure, a prominent Chilean guitarist, who believed from the first day he heard the demos in this project, is now an important part and stable member of Cathalepsy.
