Brainwave
We are Brainwave, an alt-rock band usually created of 5 twenty(ish) boys from the lovely city of Lincoln.
The band formed in the summer of 2016, when school friends Tom Booth, Luke Booth and Sean Chambers found a singer, Ryan Frost, over the waves of Facebook. The missing piece of the jigsaw was a bassist, but Sean’s old bandmate, Connor Hodson, was drafted in to complete the line-up.
Originally, Brainwave was a covers band – we played loads of songs as gigs – in order to be able to save up the money to pay for the recording of our album and music videos!
But since starting, we have been lucky enough to play some gigs with some really good bands in some really cool places, including Lincoln, Leeds and Nottingham.
Saturday Night Souvenir is the name of our debut album – Which was released on 17.11.17 – It did quite well, reaching a high of number 30 in the iTunes rock album charts.
Some of these songs have been played on radio stations all across Lincolnshire, including: Lincoln City Radio, Siren Radio, Gravity FM and Lincs FM Unplugged. We have been played on BBC Introducing in Lincolnshire.
Honestly, you should give it a listen… it messes with your brainwaves.
