Black Ink River
Black Ink River is back with a hard hitting rock tune that’s a bit faster and more straight forward than the last single release “NO NO NO”.
Sulphur Sky is the second single from the upcoming album due to be released later this year. The band says that this song is a shout out to all the crazy ultra religious people out there and also an encouragement to live your life free of chains. The music video for this song is played out as a parody of the revival movement.
“Swedish vintage rock band Black Ink River have been working on their debut album for almost two years and they are now in the final stage of mixing and mastering. The ambition is to release a vinyl LP next year on a label that have bands in the same genre of music.
Heavily influenced by the early 70’s rock and blues bands, it’s easy to hear the likes of Zeppelin, Hendrix, Purple and Fleetwood Mac. Anybody who follows Blues Pills, Vintage Caravan and Kadaver, who are all following a similar path from different angles, should add Black Ink River to their list of bands to check out.”
