Battlesword
Since 1999, BATTLESWORD hold the flag of melodic death metal on the Lower Rhine high. At concerts, Battlesword present themselves with a powerful live performance and regularly provide for their necklaces with the powerful songs of the fans. Since the existence of the band a total of two demos and two albums have been released. In the early years Battlesword was often referred to as the German answer to Amon Amarth, as they maintain a similar basic sound with driving drums and epic tunes. The current album “BANNERS OF DESTRUCTION” shows Battlesword in its old strength, but songwriting has made sure that the music is a bit more variable than at the beginning and adds some classic heavy metal elements.
