Hello, my name is William and I live in Michigan. I’m passionate about creating songs that matter. My songs are little movies with a unique combination of vision, grit, bluesy groove, and soul. I love creating songs, cover art and music videos that make you feel something real. Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, T.S. Eliot, William Butler Yeats and Sade are my biggest artistic influences.

The Kind of Songs I Write Are Like Walking On the Edge of the World

Have you ever realized something in your head that your heart & soul have known for a long time?
Looking at this clip I realized that my home is not a house or a city or town but where the earth, sky and sea are one.

Seems so obvious to me now. Yet, I have felt this way under the surface for a long time, maybe forever, but never saw it clearly.
It is the only place that makes me feel the way I do when creating new music. When I write songs I feel like I’m walking on the edge of the world, where something new and ancient is happening, something so clear after the fact but completely unknown at the start.
It makes me wonder: I’ve never done it before, but if I took my guitar right to the ocean’s edge and played, would time completely disappear? No past, no future nothing but the present moment for as long as I was there?
