INTRODUCING THE NEW ALBUM
FROM WOLVERINE LEIPZIG
Wolverine Leipzig, – A Classic Rock band with a Modern Edge.
Wolverine Leipzig are Andy Morris – Vocals & Bass Guitar, Kenny McGowan – Lead Guitar & Keyboards and Chris Allen – Drums,
Hard Rock at its best. Wolverine Leipzig’s second album, Where are We in the Here and Now? is all about killer riffs, great songs and outstanding lyrics.
The album was recorded at Blackberry Studios in the South of England and Engineered & Produced by Kenny McGowan. Mastered by Jon Astley (The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple) for Close to the Edge Mastering.
Building on their debut album Quadraband, Where are We in the Here and Now? sees the band reach a new level of musicianship, songwriting & production, with full-on hard rock guitars, great hooks, and fantastic lyrics. From the foot stomping opener of Revolving Doors, to the album closer of So Here’s the Thing this album reminds us that classic rock is alive and well and not just the domain of legacy bands. Solomon Browne (based on the true story of the Penlee lifeboat disaster) see the band combine Irish Folk and Rock reminiscent of classic Thin Lizzy or Dropkick Murphys.
Songs like the heartfelt Tradition and out and out rockers like In God’s Own Home and theatrical Resurrection X combine to make an album that is up there with some great classic rock albums.
Where are We in the Here and Now? is available on ITunes, Spotify, Amazon, You Tube and all major streaming services.
