Following the success of their second single ‘Rosa Lee’ from their acclaimed debut album ‘Get A Life,’ Merseyside based UK hard rockers ‘We’re All Aliens’ return with a new single, ‘Second Chances.’
The track, is something of a departure from the riff laden groove of their previous work with a technicolour, panoramic ballad, anthemic in design and dripping with the kind of positivity that the world needs right now, in these unprecedented times.
“We wanted to put something out that was free of some of the more cynical tone of the ‘Get A Life’ album and ‘Second Chances’ just felt like the right song for the right time,” says JJ, front man with the band.
“We’re as frustrated as anyone about what is happening out there, and obviously have major concerns about what the world will look like post lockdown. Second Chances is really a song about hope for the future and right now so many people are looking at an uncertain future. We hope it connects.”
Second Chances has the sort of big chorus refrain that we’ve come to expect from a band with the kind of classic rock sensibility that makes them great for radio, a fact that has been underpinned by previous airplay on amongst others BBC Introducing, Planet Rock and Kerrang! Radio.
Taken from the album ‘Get A Life.’ Available now.
