Triverse Massacre

Northern Deathmetallers Triverse Massacre reveal their new single ‘Gravewalker’ on Friday 10th May.

UK riff merchants Triverse Massacre are shifting through the gears and ploughing through the ranks of the British metal scene. The quintet now drop a burly slice of resourceful progressive Death Metal in the shape of their new single Gravewalker.

Born out of Carlisle, and formed in 2010, Triverse Massacre have gained a loyal horde of fans. The band’s debut EP, In The Jaws Of Deceit, was released to great response within the metal underground community, drawing glowing comparisons to At The Gates and Lamb Of God. Their sophomore release, With Bared Teeth And Truths, offered four slabs of pit starting, abrasive metal, described by the mighty No Clean Singing website as “diving head-first into a nest of pissed-off hornets”. After signing to Sliptrick Records to release the bands third EP ,Hades, they received wise spread acclaim, with the band gaining recognition from Metal Hammer Magazine and air play on K! and BBC Radio, with Metal Hammer describing the EP as “hits so hard it defies description”

Lofty support from Metal Hammer Magazine, Planet Mosh and Terrorizer Magazine has continued to increase the bands profile. so too did winning the Carlisle Metal To The Masses competition, where the foursome won a slot at the 2016 Bloodstock Open Air, playing alongside the likes of Slayer, Behemoth, Mastodon and Gojira. Live shows and support slots with everyone from Aliases, The Sun Explodes, The Colour Line, Reign Of Fury, Anihilated, as well as a sold-out show with global heavyweights Skindred and Raging Speedhorn, only further outlined the band’s growing reach and trajectory. 2018 saw the band take some time to regroup and focus on creating their best material to date, this didn’t stop them from appearing at HRH Hammerfest X, on a line up featuring Skindred, Sepultura, Blood Red Throne, Obscura & Fit For An Autopsy. As well as continuing to play up and down the UK.

Triverse Massacre’s new single Gravewalker is a vicious taste of what is to come from the band this autumn. A short sharp shock of a track featuring a blizzard of blastbeats, guttural tortured vocals and twisted guitar work, all held together with a dark distorted bass guitar. Gravewalker sees the band taking their technicality and musicianship to new heights whilst still retaining the ability to create horrific hooks guaranteed to sink deep within the listener’s ears and be there long after the track has finished.
