Trevor’s Head
On 30th April 2018 APF Records will release Soma Holiday by Trevor’s Head.
Trevor’s Head is a thick, greasy fondue of stoner rock, punk and grunge from the south east’s grottiest suburb, Redhill. Their sound is that of unhealthy British men who wish they’d grown up in the desert; dense fuzz guitar grooves growl atop beefy bass lines and frantic punk ‘n’ soul beats.
Their second full length album, titled ‘Tricolossus’, was self released in February 2016. Without booking agents or management, Trevor’s Head have consistently clocked up over a hundred gigs a year for the last three years and in doing so have become a formidable live band. With a strong presence around the South of England and a European tour under their belts, they are now setting their sights on the rest of the UK and beyond.
Relentless live work has seen Trevor’s Head rewarded with support slots with Radio Moscow, Greenleaf, Desert Storm, Morass Of Molasses, Vodun, Elephant Tree, Slabdragger and Church Of The Cosmic Skull among others. In May this year the trio are playing their biggest gig yet, at Desertfest London.
