The Storyville Mob

The Storyville Mob are an original four piece band from North Wales.

From left to right, they are:

Jon Williams – Bass
Ben Sterriker – Vocals / Piano
Steve Beynon – Drums
Mark Hedge – Guitar

Their stunning debut EP, Your Last Day, was released on 23rd March 2018.

Sometimes upbeat, often slow and moody, the band’s sound combines Ben’s piano and gravelly voice with Mark’s evocative guitar, over Steve and Jon’s solid rhythm section.

Your Last Day is a thoughtful, stirring collection of songs. From the upbeat tempo of I’m Addicted and Hustle, through the melodic, haunting blues feel of Hunting You Down, to the epic title track Your Last Day, the EP is about life and death, about the things we want to do versus the things we are supposed to do, about the journey in all its mystery and contradiction. Whether you think the title track is about futility or seizing the day will depend on who you are…

“Where All The Lonely Lie” is set for worldwide release on December 7th. The Storyville Mob’s piano driven, earthy infusion of soul and the blues comes with a blast of loneliness, love and life sung with the conviction of people who have lived it.

This is the first single off the as yet untitled new album coming next Spring.
