PD: What type of artist are you?

TMY:Were a pop rock / pop punk band that loves high energy live shows and just love to have fun doing what we love

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

TMY: The band in its current state is hopefully the final version of it. The original version formed back in 2017 but the orginal concept was thought up by our singer adam on a plane back in like 2012

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

TMY: Musically, we have always liked pop punk like green day, all time low, blink 182, etc. But we all listen to way wider genres! Like Our band collectively loves led zep, animals as leaders, chon, billie eilish, yung blud and almost anything else really. We all also really like creepy films and mccabe visuals. But that kinda doesnt really show up in our style. yet

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

TMY: We all just wanna make a living from music, its been all of our dreams since we were kids. Adam, our guitar player recently told us a story about him locking himself in his room when he was young and pretending he was the lead singer of classic rock bands.

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

TMY: Currently our songs are written by our lead singer, and most of our songs are about break up stuff, so for this new album were trying to expand the lyrical content to more interesting topics.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

TMY: Usually we just post about them on social media, but recently we had the idea to make big flyers and just post them everywhere we can in the San Diego county. We also wanna do a bunch of pop up shows just around. Like real quick 2 song sets on the sidewalk and then move on fast as heck. Sounds lke fun

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

TMY: Honestly, it kinda doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, it’s about consumerism and if that’s where people are going to buy content and then that’s where we need to be to get out there. To get exposure and hopefully then we can tour and make money off of ticket sales and merch.

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

TMY: Oh shit, Id say the black parade. Like that song has soooooo much longevity. That song will be around and popular long after us. I wanna write a song like that.

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

TMY: Being on stage and having a packed house sing our lyrics back to us louder than we were. We also hit 200,000 streams on spotify on the same song.

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

TMY: Currently we are writing and recording a new album. No idea when the release date will be cause were pretty early on in the process and the virus has sorta put a halt on all of that for now.

PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.

TMY: Well… all of our shows have pretty much been cancelled for now. So, WHEN we get new shows, you should definitely be there because we love to have fun with it and make sure that the crowd has fun. We play mostly original songs, but we love to throw in 1 or 2 covers that will get the whole crowd singing and absolutely pumped up. For example we used to cover all star by smash mouth, and i know what you’re thinking… “really…. all star???”, but lemme tell you there’s not much that will hold you back from screaming those lyrics at us when we start it. You’ll just not be able to help yourself. We’ll see ya there 😉
