The songwriting team of Leigh Furnival and Colm Duggan have spent the last 18 months carefully developing their unique sound and live show. Their debut release was written, recorded and produced by the duo, the final product is solely their own vision.
Before relocating to Waterford, Leigh (synths/keys/vox) was deeply involved in the music scene in England, while Colm (Guitar/Bass) cut his musical path in NYC. The vibrant and diverse music and arts community of Waterford quickly became a fertile ground for the pair.
One listen to The Key Regimes reveals a band that is not afraid to explore the sonic textures of Funk, Soul, Dance, Hip hop and Electronica. Firm proponents of utilizing vintage analog synths and equipment, the songs are awash in otherworldly sounds and samples and are infused with infectious grooves and beats.
After their show stopping debut gigs this summer, they have quickly gained a reputation for their spirited, high energy performances. Having recently signed with Labyrinth Management and Events, the duo recently filmed their first video “Mixing Water” for the online series “The Sublimation Hour.”
