PD: What type of artist are you?
TG: We are a five piece Indie-Rock band composing and performing our original songs
PD: Tell us a brief history of yourself.
TG: Formed in London in 2017 and hailing from three corners of Europe and the
Middle East, we have come together with an elegant and sophisticated dirty rock and roll.
In 2019 we released our debut EP ‘In The Kings House’
produced by The Verve’s Urban Hymns and award-winning producer Martin ‘Youth’
Glover (The Cult, The Charlatans, Dido, Erasure) through his label Youth Sounds.
In October we spent two weeks at Youth home-studio in Granada, Spain
recording what will be our first album to be released hopefully in the near future.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
TG: Coming from different cultures we all grew up having different musical and non-musical influences, however we do have similar influences such as The Strokes, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles.
Non musical influences Fidel Castro, Salvador Dali, Simone de Beauvoir…
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
TG: Touring the world, Playing in big festivals and never stop making new exciting music.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
TG: We write and compose our songs. Writing about Love, Pain, Rebellion, Hope, Fear, Spirits and Fun.
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
TG: With the help of social media where content is uploaded as frequently as possible. And the help of promoter that put up the shows.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
TG: It is not really helpfull for the artist financially but the good thing is that it allows you to discover new music and expands your music knowledge more easily.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
TG: A tiger saw a man by the tiger king because the man saw the tiger and the tiger saw the king yeaaaaa babyy bluu star my eyes yeaaaaa
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
TG: When someone is playing guitar while the others are explaining the song’s arrangement.
Having neighbours who doesn’t like rock ’n’ roll
When your bandmate loses your lighter
When you are asked to play acoustic
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
TG: Playing really cool festivals such as MadCool Festival Truck Festival and Space Mountain and having the honour to work with Youth, in his recording studio in Spain, amongst other great people
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
TG: Taking advantages of this lockdown writing new material while waiting for the album to be mixed and mastered.
PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there
TG: With this new crisis we are now doing online shows. The next one will be on the 5th of May following by another one on the 9th. The shows will be broadcasted live on the Social Media
