The Atmospherics
Formed in 2013 in college The Atmospherics are carving their own musical future. From playing small local college and pub gigs, starting out covering the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines & The Wombats , they are steadily beginning to make a mark, with their own upbeat material to very positive feedback . Having released their debut EP `Fast Heels And Four Play` in the summer of 2015, the four-piece are known for their energetic and exciting live shows, which have garnered them some excellent support slots in renowned venues.
The debut EP was given extensive and welcome airplay via BBC introducing, with all five tracks featured regularly over several weeks after release. Radio play has also been afforded to the band in several countries including the U.S A, Canada & Sweden.
Described as `Indie-Pop` the band have worked tirelessly on their sound, developing it from influences as well as putting their own stamp on it. All still aged 20 & 21 the band have matured into a solid and tight unit, but never losing the element of positivity and fun in their live appearances.The band collectively decided to seek experienced advice and direction when recording their latest single `Chances` alongside a debut video. Sugarhouse Music, based in St. Helens, provided the perfect impetus and expertise for the band to develop their sound even further moving forward. This no doubt was a great springboard for The Atmospherics to reach out further and create a bigger and better sound, after finding a perfect partnership with producers who knew exactly what they wanted.The result is a new exciting single, (release date 24th October), a great music video shot by Wasp Video, a live broadcast on BBC radio on the 22nd October and also the promise of more great songs going forward into 2017.
