PD. What type of artist are you?

SB. Metal/ Hard Rock/ Heavy Rock

PD. Tell us the brief history of yourself.

SB. Spyder Bonez is a hard hitting, high energy band from Greensboro, North Carolina that reaches listeners on a real level with original in your face Rock n Roll. 
The band continues to deliver a memorable experience with every live show. What you see and what you hear, you never forget! Originating in 1997, Spyder Bonez has shared the stage with bands such as Black Label Society, Biohazard, Nothing Face & Primer 55 to name a few. Their music has a diversified affect to effect, which crosses over heavy metal, heavy rock, and rock alternative. They bring every listener into a space where reality becomes musical no matter how deep the content flows. 
“Indignant” is the title track from their upcoming album, along with their newest singles release “Glass Devil” and “Change”.

PD. Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

SB. Black Label Society-KISS-Pantera-Alice Cooper-Ace Frehley-Tina Turner-Bob Marley- Fred Sanford-John Wayne- Sarah Conner-….Oh there are so many….

PD. What are your dreams and goals?

SB. To play in other countries- remain true to who we are and our own sound- to keep it our music and songs with our original sound. To keep rockin and produce more albums.

PD. Who writes your songs, what are they about?

SB. Devon writes the lyrics and the music is a collective contribution. Most all the songs are stories and messages about her life and experiences.

PD. How do you promote your band and shows?

SB. We are now in the digital age so a lot of our promotion is done via the world wide web and social media, along with radio and publication.

PD. What do you think about downloading music online?

SB. Well its pretty darn convenient now isn’t it… Somehow though. Nostalgia is fading in this digital age….

 

Some very gritty and in your face and at times haunting material.

 

PD. What’s your outlook on the record industry today?

SB. Now is the time for artists to seriously take control of their music and do everything grass roots. Every towns underground music scene should be its own industry. The days of cookie cutter, copycat artists and game show winner pop stars needs to end.

PD. What’s your claim to fame?

SB. Getting to play with Black Label Society and Biohazard….

PD. What are some of your pet peeves?

SB. Bubbles & Clowns

PD. What are the biggest obstacles for artists?

SB. Staying true to oneself and sound in today’s massive industry. Remembering to connect in a human capacity on as many levels as possible as much as possible.

PD. Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.
