Sour Punch

Sour Punch – ‘Pink Lemonade’

(Released July 22nd 2022)

Hailing from Manchester and harbouring an inordinate amount of buoyant and optimistic energy, alt-rock trio Sour Punch fill the gaps between pop, punk and indie with their deliciously technicolour offerings.

Never a band to rest on their laurels, the three-piece aren’t afraid to experiment and go against the tide. Combining intricate melodies and unruly punk rhythms to create something that feels both unique, addictive, and insanely upbeat. Forthcoming single ‘Pink Lemonade’ is no different. Three minutes of riotous indie-pop, it’s a live favourite for both band, and fans alike.

“‘Pink Lemonade’ is one of our newest songs”, the band explain. “After playing it live for the first time in Leeds, everyone loved it so much that we thought we had to get it out this summer. Some members of the audience were particularly fond of getting it released to the world!”

Ask, and ye shall receive. Or at least that was the case here. Though it does make perfect sense. ‘Pink Lemonade’ is a track made for summer, and the festival stages that brings with it. Upbeat and utterly addictive, you’ll be hearing much more from Sour Punch soon.
