‘Female fronted High energy classic rock band influenced by the 80s with a modern twist!!!
Safire has a unique fresh rock sound that will turn heads and bring something fresh to the music scene.

SAFIRE is an Northern Irish Female fronted high energy classic rock band formed in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim in 2013 by singer Saffron Gorman, guitarist Tim Torrens and drummer Cozy McAuley.
The three met in 2012 where Torrens & McAuley heard Saffron singing at a function, the two where completely blown away by Saffron’s powerful vocals and stage craft.

Torrens & McAuley approached Saffron about working together and it turned out they all shared the same vision and musical influence and they hit things off instantly. Since then Safire has been busy writing and recording songs such as Under my skin, Fallen Angel, Sunshine, Cross, Miracles, Mystical land, Turning you in to name but a few.

In 2015 Donum Dei bassist ‘Dean Kane joined the ranks to make the line-up complete, after that the band made it’s live debut on the local NI rock circuit to positive reviews.

In January 2016 Safire entered the recording studio with long time friend & producer Neal Calderwood (Manor Park Studios) to record their debut EP due for release Spring / Summer 2016 followed by some live shows and a promo campaign in support of the release.

New single Heartbreaker released on 21/05/17 and available to download on Bandcamp
