PD: How would you describe yourself or your band as an artist?
R: hate in audio form
PD: Can you tell us briefly about your background – i.e. where you’re from, how you came to make music, etc.
R: grew up in a mortuary —> started a band and toured a bunch —> got sick of the bullshit music industry —> Covid —> started this band —> you are up to speed
PD: Who and what inspires you to make music, both in terms of musical and other influences? What do you like to write about in your songs?
R: we write music for the people that have been screwed over. things that influence us include: shit jobs where you can’t seem to get ahead, broken dreams, empty promises, shit drivers, bad humans, every single bullshit politician (all of them), fake friends……
PD: What are your aspirations as an artist?
R: nothing, all things are meaningless.
PD: What is the proudest moment in your music career so far?
R: this interview
PD: Promoting one’s music is such a challenge these days, especially with so many new artists emerging from bedrooms in the day of the home studio. How is that going?
R: sucks
PD: And how do you book and promote your live shows and tours? Any performances coming up?
R: this band hasn’t played live. we are a hybrid band of touring artists from other bands.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online? What about streaming sites like Spotify?
R: do it…consume as much as you can.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
R: anything song from bon jovi. because i want to know what it feels like to write total dog shit and make tons of money.
PD: Is there anything you don’t like about the music industry, which you would change if you could?
R: everything. its 100% broken. the industry itself is too big to fail at this point…nothing can stop it now.
PD: So, what are you working on at the moment?
R: tyring to keep our shit together, and not drive off a bridge.
