Promotive

Promotive are a pop punk band at the roots, but they like to explore a lot of other styles as well, including pop, hard rock, and even trap. You’ll definitely be seeing more of that variety on later releases.

Bandmates (Jacob Ortiz, Andrew Padilla and Mel Torres) have separately made huge accomplishments in their respective musical careers, including playing with several big name artists, playing and touring across the United States (including slots on the Vans Warped Tour), touring internationally, and gaining sponsorships from various companies, such as Empire Ears and Rode Microphones. While this band originated as the solo project of vocalist, Jacob, it has since grown into a much more collaborative effort from all three members of the group.

Some of our biggest musical inspirations include All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Fall Out Boy and With Confidence. Beyond that, they all love a wide variety of music. Everything from Dance Gavin Dance, to stuff like Post Malone (they even recently released a cover of his song “Circles”).
