Planet Hunter – Interview

Planet Hunter – Interview

Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (http://petesrocknewsandviews.com)

PD: What type of artist are you?

PH: We are a Heavy Rock Proggy/Stoner Band

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

PH: We came together in early 2017. After a year and a half of creating their own unique form of sludgy riff fueled rock. We finally named ourselves on the auspicious date of 19th of April. This was the same day the  Planet Hunter satellite was launched into outer space.

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

PH: Black Sabbath, Faith No More, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, QOTSA, Motorhead

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

PH: Jed (our bassist) really wants a new Bass Head. He’s torn between the Terror Bass and an ad200b.

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

PH: We all write them. Our singer writes about the human condition and it’s relationship to the cosmos.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

PH: We use Facebook and Word of Mouth (™)

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

PH: We think it’s absolutely necessary. Bands play more shows

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

PH: Pretty much anything Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Pantera or Faith No More wrote. You heard it? it’s really good.

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

PH: Emoji’s in business emails

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

PH: April 19, 2017

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

PH: Working on an Album. Loose plan to release it later in the year. The album we’re working on won’t be released until late Next year.

PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.

PH: Our next few shows are local (for us)
