O’Ivy

O’Ivy

St. Louis based pop rock group O’Ivy dropped their “Be Alright” single and it’s definitely making an impression. “Be Alright” slams with an uproarious good time for your ears. Rocking alternative guitars, a slight pop punkness just glimmering at its edges, and bright vocals and melodies is the name of the game and it not only works for O’Ivy, but it feels almost effortless. Headed by vocalist and songwriter Cat O’Toole, the band is ramping up for their next release. Here is what Cat had  to say about the upcoming Bloom album.

“Bloom is our first full album, and our sound has definitely evolved as each new band member joined the lineup. I wrote all the songs on guitar, and each person had to sort of find their parts. After that, writing new material has been much more collaborative because we are all there for the entire process.”
