Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (

PD: What type of artist are you?

NV: We are a rock and roll band writing songs designed to get arses off seats!

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

NV: George and will originated in Birmingham, they moved up to manchester in 2018 to persure a carrer in music. They then found bassist Benji and Swiss lead guitarist Cedric. Since 2019 we have played around 50 shows, supported King Nun and recorded two singles at the motor museum in Liverpool with record winning producer Al groves.

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

NV: We have a wide range of influences, drummer George and bassist Benji are into their heavier rock which goves our rhythm secrion plenty of power.

Front man will is into a wide range of music but most recently bands like Bon jovi, aerosmith and Led zeppelin.

Cedric is into his chill indie bands, recently introducing the band Palace to the mix.

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

NV: We have all agreed if we can stay in a music career as a band until retirement that is successful to us but we are looking to grow as much as possible and leave a real stamp on rock music as a genre.

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

NV: The songs began to be written by George and Will in a garage in Birmingham and now they are either written as a 4 piece in our practice room or in the home studio and added to week by week.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

NV: To promote our band we run social media brand awareness advert campaigns, with our most recent single this feeling we handed out cards at other rock shows with a link directly to the single. We try to change up techniques for promoting as much as possible to keep it interesting for us and our fans!

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

NV: I love the idea of how it used to be where you would need to go to the local shop and puck up a vinyl or even CD as this creates more of a community!

But i am also happy music is so easy to access as i wouldn’t want to be dragging myself out of bed to go and buy a new single with a hangover.

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

NV: This could be one of the hardest questions i have been asked! We wish we would have written Ed sheerans Bad habits so he couldnt release it a week before we released our Bad Habits ahah

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

NV: George- people

Benji- us telling him to stop playing bass

Will- driving

Cedric- rushing

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

NV: To date our proudest moment is probably hearing the mixes back for our two latest singles. We recorded them with award winning producer Al groves at the motor museum so they sound meaty!

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

NV: At the moment we are working on promoting our newest single. Our main aim for the rest of this year is to continue to grow our fan base, and we need to get back in the studio for our next releases.

PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?

NV: We have our original ep, two singles that were recorded at abbey road (circus show and No Name) then we have release singles SHE. and without you. Our latest and best release are a re make of bad habits and our nee single this feeling. Our music is available on every music platforms
