No Phace Project – Interview

Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (

PD: What type of artist are you?

NPP: No Phace project is a collective of artists collaborating with many different genres and styles to create hybrid sounds

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

NPP: All the artists involved have a lot of musical history behind them. It’s all we know!

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

NPP: Everyone and everything! We want to keep our infouece options flexible. A lot of life experiences go into our songs. Even if its how an instrumental makes you feel. Emotions trigger memories and we want to take extreme emotions and turn them into the soul of each song.

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

NPP: Personally when we started it up I wanted it to give artists who wouldn’t usually work along side each other the opportunity to break musical “rules” and boundaries  I’m so passionate about music in all of its forms. There isn’t a day that passes where I’m not tracking a new idea!

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

NPP: The project is a collaborative platform so we all throw down our contributions. Life experiences, taken out of context in relative to scenarios and wild concepts

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

NPP: I’m no professional promoter but I do my best to spread the word on social media and we have the pleasure of working along side roguepr now too.

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

NPP: An artist’s brand is far more precious to them than revenue in my opinion. Granted we all need to make a living and want to do what we love whilst doing so. Unfortunately the dream of making a living from music is further away from those who want it than it ever has been now. Not impossible! But very difficult.

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

NPP: I’d quite like to have written some of Hans Zimmers material but that’s just me! Unbelievable composer.

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

NPP: Musicians that don’t keep up communication is wholeheartedly my number one.

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

NPP: Headlining a festival, definitely! Such an amazing experience.

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

NPP: We have a (Now) 6 song EP due to be released online from 6pm Friday February 26th 2021 titled “Everything is Nothing” featuring some amazing artists we can not wait to get this one out!

PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?

NPP: ll No Phace project songs can be Streamed/ Downloaded from all major streaming platforms world’s wide. Get your headphones plugged in and the volumes turned up. Enjoy!
