Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (

PD: What type of artist are you?

N: We are a pop punk bands from Sunderland UK playing old school 2000era catchy pop punk

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

N: We are all born and bred in Sunderland and have slight connections from us going to the same school and being in older bands in the past. We all love pop punk so when drummer jack got in touch with callum about starting a band he knew jack from a a previous band and knew he was a great song writer for pop punk

We then added Lewis who has been a long time friend of callum

We had our first practice in April and from then on the band has come together very nicely

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

N: We all have very similar influences going from old school pop punk I.e blink 182, fall out boy, all time low The bands we grew up listening to when we were kids basically. Anything pop punk we all pretty much like. As for None musical influences we all like sports the likes of football and handball, we also like skateboarding and motorcross

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

N: Our dream would definitely be just to get out on tour in the UK supporting a band who are well established to get our name about! And our goal is to get as many songs as we can and hopefully play slam dunk festival

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

N: Jack woods writes all the songs and he has plenty to go around! We have your basic pop punk style songs the track “innocent” is about when your younger and your girlfriend breaks up with you for doing something stupid, even tho it was not your fault. We have a track coming out end of this year called “little silver” and that’s about your favourite car you had and driving it about all night.

We do like to keep our songs fun up tempo and catchy

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

N: At the moment we are pretty new we have a show in newcastle in the pipeline so we will be using, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify and people who have signed up to our mailing list to help promote shows. Pretty much any social network platform

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

N: We think it’s great! It’s gives bands the chance to get there music heard and I a very easy day way the likes of Spotify and Apple music has helped loads for unsigned band get there name about and it really changed how the music industry works

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

N: To many to mention haha

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

N: Our singer would say stage monitors as he all about the in ear monitors

Apart from that we are a pretty chilled band takes a lot to peeve us off haha

N: So far was recording our track innocent ourself! We done the drums in the studio the rest was done in lewis spare room and his focusrite! We are lucky to have German based injected smile studio doing our mixing mastering and producing as you would never think our main single was not done in a studio
